No one suffers<br \/>\nat my hands except for my slayer.<br \/>\nI grow very tall, erect in a bed,<br \/>\nI\u2019m hairy underneath. From time to time<br \/>\na good-looking girl, the doughty daughter<br \/>\nof some churl dares to hold me,<br \/>\ngrips my russet skin, robs me of my head<br \/>\nand puts me in the pantry. At once that girl<br \/>\nwith plaited hair who has confined me<br \/>\nremembers our meeting. Her eye moistens.<br \/>\n(An onion.)<br \/>\nA strange thing hangs by a man\u2019s thigh,<br \/>\nhidden by a garment. It has a hole<br \/>\nin its head. It is stiff and strong<br \/>\nand its firm bearing reaps a reward.<br \/>\nWhen the man hitches his clothing high<br \/>\nabove his knee, he wants the head<br \/>\nof that hanging thing to poke the old hole<br \/>\n(of fitting length) it has often filled before.<br \/>\n(A key.)<br \/>\nA young man made for the corner where he knew<br \/>\nshe was standing; this strapping youth<br \/>\nhad come some way \u2014 with his own hands<br \/>\nhe whipped up her dress, and under her girdle<br \/>\n(as she stood there) thrust something stiff,<br \/>\nworked his will; they both shook.<br \/>\nThis fellow quickened: one moment he was<br \/>\nforceful, a first-rate servant, so strenuous<br \/>\nthat the next he was knocked up, quite<br \/>\nblown by his exertion.
